Match Preview

Two games in four days over busy Easter

Bedwas begin a busy weekend with a trip west on the M4 to the Talbot Athletic Ground home of the Aberavon ‘Wizards’. With two games in four days there are a few changes to the match day squad as Bedwas look for a return to winning ways.

James Richards is given the captain’s armband for the first time and with Andrew Waite moving up to blind side flanker completes a new look back row for Bedwas with Dale Rogers starting at number 8.

Dan Preece, Mike Dacey and the return from the Dragons of Dan Suter are also a new combination but the second row pairing of Geraint Edmunds and Gareth Allen continue their run in the side.

Luke Crane starts at scrum half with another newcomer as Joseph Scrivens latterly of Bridgend Ravens and Penallta starts at outside half. Aaron Bramwell regains his starting position at fullback in an otherwise unchanged backs division.
