GAME IS ON!

After last weekend’s fixtures being decimated by freezing conditions it’s a short trip to Beddau for Bedwas this Saturday (kick-off 2-30pm).

“As a group we were disappointed with last week being called off”, opined Pat McGee before adding “The lads have trained well and are keen to put in a good performance this week”.

Beddau currently sit in 6th position two points above Bedwas in the league table having won four games out of eight and were our opponents on the opening day of the season at The Bridgefield winning 28 points to 16. Another hard game can be expected.

The Bedwas side shows a few changes.

Harry Oliver comes back into the starting line-up at lock forward with Tommy Chapman moving back to blind side flanker. Dale Rogers moves back to Number 8.

There’s a starting debut for Max Rivers partnering Lewis Bowden in the centres. Liam Jenkins comes in on the wing.

On the bench Liam Beer and recent signing Sean Morris feature.
