The Bedwas Barbarians continued their winning ways as they defeated Merthyr Athletic at The Wern.
A resilient second half comeback secured another win on the road for the young Barbarians side, making it 5 wins from the last 6 games.
Two penalty kicks from Owen Thomas, and tries from skipper Dewi Thomas, Kyle Jackson (x2) and Logan Hughes, with added conversions from Owen Thomas (x2) and Tyler Picton (x1), saw the BaaBaa’s take the victory over the tough Merthyr Athletic outfit.
Yet another outstanding performance from man of the match, “Mr Consistent” Gavin Evans, who came out of the second row to cover scrum half in a last minute change.
