Bedwas RFC 2nd XV Returns to Training

 

Following the decision by the WRU to separate under and over 18s rugby for the 2021/22 season, it will not be feasible for us to run an U18 Youth side at Bedwas RFC for the coming season. However, looking to turn a negative into a positive, and to provide our young people with a platform to continue to enjoy rugby in the coming season, we have decided to relaunch our 2nd team. 

We are keen for more players to join our young side as they look to take part in the District 2nds league for South East Wales. The team will train every Tuesday and Thursday, starting from 14 September. The team is already made up of about 15 Youth team graduates, so we are looking to add more players to our roster and to bring in some more experienced players to help blood our young team. All players, regardless of experience, are welcome to join training and get stuck into club life!
