Team news as Bedwas look to bounce back at Cross Keys


After the disappointing result at Bargoed RFC everyone involved at Bedwas RFC will be hoping that result was a just a blip and that normal resume at our neighbours Cross Keys on Saturday. In recent weeks Keys have begun to look something like where they want to be-winning games so a hard game is to be expected and assured.

Head Coach Stefan Sankala makes a few tweaks to the side that took to the field at Bargoed Park. Dale Rogers moves from hooker back to Number 8 with Mike Dacey moving off the bench to start at hooker. Kelvyn Williams takes over the tight head prop jersey with Rhys Hutcherson on the bench. Owen Jones moves to the bench.

In the backs division there is one change with Owain Keane getting the nod at scrum half in place of Matt Bancroft.

The coaches have opted for a three forwards: two backs combination on the bench which sees a recall for Dan Scott and following injury Rory Harries. Bradley Williams is also recalled.
