Team news for our first ever game at Maesteg Harlequins RFC

After another week without game Bedwas RFC are hoping the break will not have disrupted their rhythm as they head for the first time to Maesteg Harlequins RFC (South Parade Playing Fields, CF34 0AB) a fact not lost on our Head Coach Stefan Sankala.

“Playing at Maesteg Quins is a first for myself and most of this squad but it’s another game we are looking forward to” said Sankala. “The Quins come with a strong reputation of passion, belief and commitment and we expect a real physical challenge from their lads. I guess being an ex-Premiership outfit we have a target on our backs most weeks and that’s no different on Saturday. However, our preparation this week has been very positive and we are excited to deliver a performance.”
“A warm welcome awaits but our players are looking forward to it” he added.
Bedwas RFC gratefully acknowledges the assistance of Pontypool United RFC in permitting winger George Collins for this game, thank you.
