A convincing win at The Bridgefield today as Bedwas RFC Athletic ran in seven tries, with six different players getting on the scoresheet.

Kyle James opened the scoring just two minutes in, with Owen Thomas adding the conversion. Zach Amps crossed for the second, again converted by Owen, before Girling got on the board with a penalty. Kyle Jackson then added our third try, with Owen making it three conversions from three to give Bedwas a 21–3 lead at half-time.

The boys added to their tally early in the second half through Jevon Knowles and Josh Godden, with Owen converting Josh’s try. Captain Ben Reynolds crossed later on before Kyle James rounded off the scoring with his second of the afternoon. Owen added the final conversion to finish with five successful kicks.

Seven tries scored and none conceded — a team effort the boys can be proud of, with plenty of players putting themselves in contention for Man of the Match.
