Bedwas host Bridgend Athletic RFC on Saturday in what is believed to be the first meeting of the two sides (kick-off 2-30pm).
Last week’s postponement of the fixture at St Josephs was frustrating for the coaches who had sought to keep the momentum gained in the opening game against Glamorgan Wanderers. Pat McGee reflected on this when he said ‘Very disappointed with the game being called off last week. Nothing changes for us the same messages are going out to the players.’
Bedwas welcome Tom Workman and Lloyd Wilkins on permit from Newport RFC and Bridgend Ravens respectively. We thank both clubs for granting them permits to play.
