Bedwas welcome St Peters RFC to the Bridge Field on Saturday. This will be the first meeting of our clubs for many years and will be followed up the weekend after when Bedwas travel to St Peters for a WRU Cup game.
Ahead of the game Bedwas Head Coach Pat McGee commented:
‘From last week everything asked of the players was delivered. We made far less errors, our discipline was good and defensively we were much better. Moving onto this week we have worked hard and want to carry on our good form from last week.’
There are a few changes from last weeks starting line-ups as a few minor injuries were picked up. Ben Eedy and Rhys Jones come into the back row in place of the injured Will Fishlock, with Rhys Morgans moving to the bench.
Jak Robbins starts at scrum-half with the injured Morgan Winstone dropping out of the squad.
On the bench Rhys Hutcherson, Sam George, Lewis Crane and Liam Jenkins are all recalled.
