Bedwas Barbarians are in WRU Conference League action on Saturday as they travel to St Peters RFC, kick off at 2-30pm.
Ahead of the game Dean Picton commented: ‘The Xmas period is long gone and it’s back to the business end of the year. Illness and availability have affected team selection which opens the gates for other focused players to make their mark. Tyler Picton moves to outside half and Jack Guy comes in to bolster the centre partnership with Tom Grainger. Mike Young continues his comeback at loosehead with Luke Lloyd-Clubbe coming in at the tighthead. A big game is expected from the back row of Lucas Weeks, Jay Downes and no 8 Luke Handley. A final change in the pack gives Harri Rees a maiden start alongside the experienced Ashley Matthews.’
