Bedwas Barbarians go into tomorrow’s Dragons League fixture knowing that if they score 4 tries and win, they will win the Dragons League for the 2nd time in successive years.

Coach, Dean Picton said “The boys have been on a journey this season…we have, like any other team, had our ups and downs but what pleases the coaching team is how the boys have reacted. It’s been a magnificent effort to claw back the points to put ourselves in control of our own destiny, we win by a bonus point, we win the league, Simple!

 The front row has been changed since the last match against New Panteg 1st’s whereby the recall of Ashley Matthews, Owain Brideaux and Mike Young are chosen to do the job. Morgan Phipps returns to the 2nd row and Sam Graves returns at flanker.

The changes to the backline include Morgan Jones at scrumhalf and Harvey Stroud at centre against his old club. Saul Down returns to full back and Tyler Pesci moves over to wing. Tyler Picton takes on the Captain’s armband.

The bench is bolstered by bulk and focused lads awaiting their call. We need as much support as possible tomorrow as the ko is 2pm at NHSOB. What awaits the Baa Baa’s, who knows? One thing is sure, we are determined to bring back the Cup!
