Despite the enormous challenges from Covid over the last 2 years, Bedwas RFC still looks forward with optimism as it is currently fielding a successful Championship side, a new Seconds XV (playing great rugby) and a very flourishing Mini and junior section. To accommodate the increasing demand for training and playing on our 2 pitches, new floodlighting has just been commissioned which will extend the hours available for our local youngsters to engage in healthy and vigorous outdoor sport.

Over £40, 000 has been invested in this new facility and Bedwas RFC wishes to put on record our thanks to the WRU, for its support for our applications to Sport Wales and the Welsh Govt’s Community Facilities Programme, which provided the majority of the funding.
