Bedwas RFC 2nd XV hosted Blaenavon RFC 2nd XV on Friday 29 October 2021.
After an entertaining game it was Blaenavon who earned the plaudits 30 points to 25 but our young 2nd XV can be very proud of their efforts.
Scorers were: Saul Down 1 try, Liam Lintern 1 try, Tyler Picton, 1 conversion, 5 penalties.
After the game former Bedwas first team regular Richard Powell (who guested for Blaenavon) posted on Twitter: “Outstanding effort from a squad full of young men, hat’s off to you all. The future is bright at a brilliant club, I look forward to watching your progress. I would love to run out with you boys if the opportunity comes along. Good luck to you all at a fantastic club”
This Friday (5th November) we welcome Abercynon RFC 2nds for a friendly fixture, kick off under the lights at 7-15pm.
