Bedwas RFC Athletic hosted Nelson Nomads at the Centre for Sporting Excellence at Ystrad Mynach. Unfortunately, they were defeated twenty-eight points to seven.
Next week the Athletic side host Machen Quarrymen in a match which will be a charity fundraiser for the St Davids Hospice in memory of the late Shane Kugler. Admission is £2 on the day, and all proceeds will be donated to this worthy cause. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Bedwas RFC Youth travelled to Caerau Ely RFC Youth and came away with an impressive forty-six points to nil victory.
Man of the match was awarded to Elis Rice.
Next week the side travel to Risca RFC to play their final Dragons League game.
