Bedwas RFC is profoundly saddened to the announce the passing of highly respected lifelong member of our club Mr Mel Rees.
Mel had been associated with Bedwas RFC for many, many years and was revered for his secret recipe pasties which were very popular at club functions.
We extend our deepest sympathy to his daughter Helen and his wider family and friends at this difficult time.
We will announce his funeral arrangements when known.
