Bedwas RFC is pleased to announce that two of last season’s back rowers have signed up for next season.

Rhys Morgans, 22, will be entering his third season at the club. Rhys is held in high esteem by his colleagues having picked up the ‘Players Player of the Year’ award at the club awards dinner in early July.

He commented “Bedwas is a club with a great atmosphere and a good brand of rugby which I love being a part of. This has led me to staying for the new season.”

Rhys Jones joined the club last season having previously captained Caerphilly RFC. Upon signing for the new season 23-year-old Rhys said “I am excited to stay on with Bedwas again for the coming season. Last year was my most enjoyable season in rugby which made me want to stay. With the strong coaching staff and a great bunch of boys the environment is a proper rugby environment. One that I am looking forward to being a part of again this season.”
