After three weeks without a game Bedwas 1st XV will be hoping to put the show back on the road as they make the trip to Ystrad Rhondda RFC (kick-off 2-30pm)

As the business end of the season nears competition for a top five slot and promotion to the new look Premier Division next season intensifies.

Bedwas Head Coach Pat McGee is aware of the importance of this fixture. ‘There are lots of important games coming up, no more than on Saturday against a very good Ystrad side,’ said McGee. ‘The lads have prepared well and are looking forward to the challenge.’

McGee has had to delay naming his side until Saturday morning as a few of the squad need to confirm their availability, but the side will be selected from the twenty- one players below:
