Saturday’s game AT TREBANOS POSTPONED

GAME POSTPONED DUE TO WATERLOGGED PITCH. (Updated 28/02/2020 23-00hrs)

Bedwas head west to Trebanos (Post Code for Sat. Nav. –SA8 4BN) this weekend in a re-arranged fixture after Trebanos RFC very kindly offered to host the game to give Bedwas RFC more time to recover from the effects of Storm Dennis.

After slipping up at home to Neath RFC last weekend Head Coach Stefan Sankala makes a number of changes to his team.

Lewis Evans comes in at full back with James Hallett moving to the bench and Marley Finn comes in on the right wing in place of George Collins. Owain Keane starts at scrum half.  The remaining backs remain as selected last week. Up front the starting props are changed with Lewis Davies and Rhys Hutcherson starting in place of Tom Devine and Kelvyn Williams. Matthew Bovington and Craig Hudd return from injury and come into the second and back row’s respectively. Rhys Morgan moves from the bench to start at open side flanker. Dale Rogers leads the side from Number 8.

On the bench we welcome 18 years old prop forward Joe Cowell who gets his first chance at senior rugby after impressing in the excellent Cross Keys College side who were the winners of this season’s college championship.
