Bedwas welcome Cardiff Met RFC to the Bridgefield on Saturday for a Championship fixture, kick-off 2-30pm.
‘The Met’ have a similar record to ourselves having also won two and last two of their first two games. However, an extra try bonus point sees them sitting one place above us in the table in fifth position. Last time out they narrowly lost 36-32 to Bargoed and have also been by Glamorgan Wanderers (35-20). Their two victories have been over Ystrad Rhondda (32-25) and Trebanos (49-10).
Bedwas head coach Stefan Sankala has drafted four players in on permit to cover for injuries. Tom Workman and Geraint O’Driscoll continue their spells on permit from Newport RFC and are joined by colleague Lloyd Lewis. We also welcome Number 8 Ben Moa from the Dragons Academy.
