Team news for Saturday’s game at Tata Steel RFC

Bedwas RFC are back on the road week travelling west to take on Tata Steel RFC in a league fixture, kick-off 2-30pm.

After last week’s Cup game at Merthyr Head Coach Stefan Sankala commented: “After a strong and encouraging performance last week, we are looking forward to getting back to league action. It seems an eternity since we last played in the championship but the squad are chomping at the bit to tick off some targets set weeks ago. We’ve had a convincing win at Tata already this year (in Round 1 of the WRU Cup) but everyone understands fully that they will be a different animal this time around and we need to be at our best to get something from the game. Tata have huge league experience and will look to that in order to get their season back up and running especially at home.

My challenge to the players has been set and we are looking for another consistent performance.”

There are a few changes to the team that played at Merthyr last week.
